Having Fun!

We'll start off this round of pictures with a little serenity!

Forest had just had a bath and fell exhausted from swimming so much.

This is Erin, Kevin and I getting ready to leave Rexburg after a nice weekend out of town.

Right before we left we got a picture at the temple too. We'll be going through one of these real soon! I can't wait!

Forest and Kevin were chillin waiting for Erin and I to get ready

This is the family we stayed with, Jason and Jodie Gonzalez... she is about 6 months pregnant.

Here I got out of bed in the morning to go to the bathroom and when I got back Forest had snuggled in.

Forest is helping me write a paper here, but from the looks of it he wasn't happy with my work.

Erin decided one day that she wanted to go out and draw with the chalk my mom had given us. So, we took out our little volcano and he ended up being the source of my inspiration (the drawing next to him).

Here's a close up of our little volcano.

And a close up of my drawing.

Forest wanted a little head start to driving, but when we sat him in the driver seat he looked a little daunted.

Erin successfully ran her first Rex Lee Run on this very freezing morning in march. This was my third Rex Lee Run and Forest stayed at home with Grammy... when I finished I went to go get him and then picked up Erin.

I decided to sit Forest next to me and when I looked at him we were sitting in the exact same position! It was also cute that he kept looking at me.

These last two are fun pictures of Forest that Erin caught on camera... he is soooo much fun.

And cute.

Demand for more Forest

I am tributing this Blog to the constant demand that I get for having more pictures of Forest. I am also spurred to action by Erin always telling people that I spend enough time playing during classes that I could use some of that for writing blogs... so here it is.

I just think that this is a pretty cute picture of the both of them, I think that with their powers combined they had beat me.

I like his hat... jealous.

Erin doesn't like this picture of her so she might kill me, but I really like it and I think it looks professional. (I took it)

Just chillin.

We had just bought this bumbo and really wanted to see him in it... he likes it, but he can't use it for long until his neck is stronger. We do use it for pictures and I really like his overalls... again jealous.

Caught him smiling

And again.

This is an outfit I use to wear. He looks pretty cute and he loves to suck on the little bow tie thing. It would be interesting to get a picture of me from my mom with me in the same outfit at the same age. He's not upset, just confused.

Here he's practicing to play the bagpipes, which he knows goes with the look.

We were packing for our trip for Rexburg and he just happen to slip in as a stowaway. He was pretty comfortable the whole way.

Monkeys

I'd like to dedicate this Blog to one of my many nicknames of 'Monkey'.

While at the Zoo we ran into some friends...

This is my brother Kyle and his friend Rupert!

Here Erin is consoling her friend Dolores

This is Stefan getting a snack with Ronald

Ryan is giving physical therapy to Ned...he pulled his shoulder

And I went into a arm wrestling match with Nigel.

Then things just started to get out of hand...(I was going to put in a video but ran out of time and the computer can't do it... maybe I can later).

Forest Curtis Field

We are in the hospital still. Forest, 6.12 lbs. and 18 1/2 inch., was born at 7:45am December 19th 2007! He is the cutest and best baby there is, of course. He loves to be held and loved and only fusses when I change his diaper or wants mommy's breast. He sleeps perfectly during the day and loves to eat at night. I was just holding him while typing, but he was just taken for a hearing test... I miss him already. Anyway, I just wanted to post some pictures and get back to loving Erin and Forest. Talk to you all soon!

My Family

I wanted to take a little bit to introduce you to the most amazing family in the world... sorry that I don't have pictures of everyone.

First we'll start with the most gorgeous, caring, charitable and amazing woman I know...

ERIN!!!!!!!!!! I love this picture of her. It was taken on our honeymoon in Zion's National Park at Weeping Rock. She is the best blessing of my life!

Now what good would it do showing you my family without showing you the two love birds together? And yes we still do that a lot (kiss).

This is all mostly family... all but one. Though not everyone is there it is a good happy snapshot of us together.

These two love birds are my beloved parents... my mom isn't really that stern, not smiling is a product of her era and family. I owe a lot to these two, and words can't explain my love for them.

These two sweetcakes are my second parents! I love them very much and am indebted to them for giving me their most precious gift... their daughter.

As you can see it appears that these two families are able to get along quite well. Don't they look so cute!

This is my oldest brother Jeremiah and his gorgeous wife Margaret. As you can see our family can surf too, maybe we should all get together in Hawaii before Nate and Wendy leave!

Try to crop out the sides and just focus on the cute new family in the middle. Justin, Vangie and Juris! They live in Virginia and weren't able to make it out to the wedding. They beat Erin and I to the punch of having the first grandchild (on my side).

I had to put a solo in of the most beautiful girl in our family! She is soooo cute!

When I was talking about tall, dark and handsome I was really just imagining myself as Seth. He is our resident politician, interpreter and favorite uncle! P.S. He's single and really the nicest guy.

This is the Princess of my family, Lindsey. I should mention that Seth and her are twins! I really couldn't ask for a better sister than Lindsey, she's so caring and always there for me.

This is the youngest and most witty of the bunch, Kyle. Here he looks like Joseph Smith, which is a good description of him. He was and is one of my best friends... he's got competition with Erin in the picture now.

As many people know my family likes to have fun. This is My uncle Jerry and my sister Margaret, I'd say their a great pair... what do you think?

This is his lovely wife Leslie. My aunt and my mom's sister. I really like this picture of her... she looks so smart and pretty, but you know there is something else to that grin (she was always the conniving one from what I was told).

And this is their daughter Sarah and her husband Adam. They too are newly weds! Adam fits perfectly with our family... fun, loud and competitive.

The best thing about having a family so large and close to one another is....

They'll sneak up on you unexpectedly!

It was to have another merging of the family in D.C. this summer when we had a little picnic on basin. And...

tried to look as goofy as possible! Really on of the staples of our family is playing games, this is one called Mormon Bridge.

Well that was a quick tour of my amazing family! Don't you wish yours was as nice?
